General Concept

Moroccan Universities’ logo are not that good, they seem so old fashioned and outdated, they’d been used from a long long time ago; my initiative was try to update them in a more modern yet minimalist approach, I kept some illustrations / and others’ Icons has completely been changed changed, colours, iconography and font choice.
Concerning the colours, I tried to pick those of the city that the university belongs to, in a more interesting and vivid way to make it blend in the environment، some of 'em were kept as they were through sampling the original colours by using the eye dropper tool on Ai.
As previously mentioned; some of the icons were changed to a more “expressive” way, yet not that simple; if you make a close look at the Mohamed the 1st University you’ll notice how complicated the Icon / illustration is, others have been kept almost the same; Mohammed The 5th University of Rabat as an example.
All in all, it is my belief that the updated versions are more likely to be considered modern and yet slightly minimal; they can be printed easily in both print like Flyers, Brochures, businesscards .. etc, and digital platforms like social Media or online platforms and websites.
